Kids Enjoy Brushing Their Teeth
Today kids had a good time learning to brush their teeth.
The tooth wizard and his arch enemy PlaqueMan were at Edison and Mark Twain Elementary this afternoon teaching children the proper way to brush their teeth.
The presentation is put on by
Delta Dental of Missouri.
The team will tour the state with their interactive "Land of Smiles" program that also teaches kids the importance of healthy eating and exercising.
"All kids do not like to brush their teeth at times so it's just good reminders for them of when they should brush their teeth and brushing them twice a day," said Edison nurse Kelly Willard. "It gives them extra help and extra practice."
"Land of Smiles" is scheduled to visit more than 300 schools across the state.
The program is expected to reach nearly 70,000 students.
Dr. Myers continues to support the handicapped families or individuals who work at the Doniphan County Sheltered Workshop in our county.

The Kansas City Chiefs training camp has come to St. Joseph, Mo! Dr. Myers belongs to the Rotary and they helped out at the training camp site. Kim is also showing off her "million dollar smile" with dental work performed by Dr. Myers!
